We want Islanders to help develop our province’s electrical energy future.

With the discussion paper, Charting Our Electricity Future, the commission wishes to inform and encourage public input regarding how the province’s electricity costs can be reduced and/or stabilized over the long term.

The discussion paper and the public consultation process that is now underway is focused on developing ideas and recommendations for a secure, sustainable and economically viable electricity supply into the future.
